Given the current situation, many people have decided to social distance themselves at the cottage. It’s wonderful that so many of you are finding comfort during this difficult time in your cottages and in nature.
The increased amount of traffic on the road is causing more damage than we typically see at this time of the year. During spring the frost comes out of the ground, creates soft shoulders, and makes the road much more susceptible to the development of ruts.
Given the increased traffic, we ask that you reduce the number of times you use the road over the next several weeks and that if you do need to go out, please try to do so early in the morning or early in the evening when the road is firmer.
We appreciate your cooperation as it is the responsibility of each of us to maintain our road.
Please continue to practice behaviours outlined by our health officials including:
- Washing your hands frequently
- Staying at Home (or Cottage) unless you must go out
- Practicing Social Distancing
Stay Home. Stay Healthy. Save Lives.
